As I’m sitting here having the first beer of Memoal Day weekend, I’d like to thank all the veterans who have served, and are serving our country. We will honor you all by drinking beers and wearing red, white, and blue for the next four day!
I’m going to keep it short today. And to be honest, this will probably be the last post of the week. I’m heading out to the Tee Box tomorrow around noon for the first time this year. And as much as I’m looking forward to it, the one thing I can promise you is that it will not be pretty. The goal is to break 100, but if it gets bad, the scorecard will magically disappear.
Last night kicked off the NHL Conference Final(s), with Florida taking game 1 from the Rangers alt the Garden. Which leads me to the answer to yesterday’s question. With 266 appearances in playoff games, Chris Chelios leads all players in the category of most post season games in NHL history. Hope some of you got it right, I know that I wouldn’t have if I didn’t do the research.
I’d like to wrap up the week sticking with the same theme, meaning, hockey. Let’s get right to it.
In the 1981/1982 NHL playoffs, the Kings came back from a 5-0 deficit, making it the largest comeback in NHL playoff history. The game was such a classic, it was given a nickname.
What was the nickname given to the game?
The Greak Comeback
Miracle on Manchester
The Comeback Kings
