Well, here it is, the first trivia post. After a historic day in sports yesterday, with the Pacers shooting the highest percentage in NBA Playoff history to win game 7 at the Garden, and the reigning champion Nuggets crumbling a 20+ point lead to lose game 7 at home (Mile High Stadium?), it only makes sense that we start with basketball, right?
Wrong!! I wouldn’t be doing Golf any justice by just passing over what happened this weekend at the PGA Championship. Xander Schauffele finally planted his name to n Major history! Now, if I’m being honest, I don’t know much about his story, but he did finish second this year at the Players Championship, and placed in the top ten at Augusta. Hats off to this man for his major accomplishment (pun intended).
For those that are not privy to the sport, golf has four majors, The Masters, the PGA Championship, the US Open, and the Open Championship. After a long drive home from dinner with the family, I started to think to myself, if he wins the final Major this year, he would be the first one since (insert trivia answer here) to win multiple major championships in one year. So, here we go, enjoy the first edition of STFU!
Who was the last golfer to win multiple majors in one year?
0%Tiger Woods
0%Scottie Scheffler
0%Rory Mcllroy
0%Brooks Koepka
**I will provide an answer to the question the following day before asking another question**
